San Jose, Costa Rica

I'm having some keyboard problems with this Spanish keyboard, but otherwise, things are good. We had some bumpy flights, and twice our flight crew to San Jose said we were en route to San Juan, but we made it to Costa Rica as planned.

I'm drinking a cup of very tasty coffee at the moment and I need to start waking up kids in a few minutes for breakfast. We leave for the jungle lodge at Selvaverde in a few hours.

Customs was crowded but as non-confrontational as I've ever seen anywhere. We breezed right through with no issues at all.

I think I'll skip running here in San Jose this morning, but hopefully we'll get to our next destination in time to do something there today.

Buenas Dias, Senor Lease! We SO appreciate what you're doing with this group, and that you're taking the time to keep us posted back here in the states. May the rains fall gently on your heads today!~Jocelyn

Yes, Senor Lease - MUCHAS GRACIAS for taking this on and for keeping us updated! Glad that you all arrived safley, hopefully no on tossed their cookies on the bumpy flights - just good practice for those Costa Rican roadways, I suppose. Enjoy!

Hey, waaaaiiiiit! I saw your tweet that you were in San José and I thought you were talking about California getting ready for States. I was wondering why you were talking about customs. Now it all makes sense!

I'm so jealous! Have a great trip!

It is good that you are tiring them out - then they wont have energy for any shenanigans! Thanks for keeping them safe from the crocs, gators, ginormous spiders and monkeys! It truly sounds exhausting and exciting. I hope they are practicing lots of Espanol!Again - muchas gracias to all chaperones!

Your message for Jordin worked just fine.

Okay, I have to ask . . . was anyone scared ziplining? It seems so daunting to me, but I can imagine that it would be exhilarating, especially when you're done! Buenos Noches, one and all, and thanks again to our fearless chaperones!

Meagan was a bit anxious, but got over it quickly. If any boys were afraid, they hid it well.

Mrs. Nevins did very well despite some trepidation.

The last zipline was almost half a mile long at heights exceeding 250 feet, and we crossed a river on that one.
