A few pics from my fishing vacation last week

I'm too busy to write much, but we caught a number of nice wild browns.  The two biggest fish didn't get photographed due to a lack of hands.  I was by myself, dealing with the fish, an under-sized net, the rod and reel, and I didn't want to drop the camera in the river or kill the fish by keeping it out of the water too long.

Nice trout, but who's the old guy in that last picture?

I think you meant old and fat!

No, just old. Looks like you caught quite a few trout - all wild or are some of those streams stocked?

We fished one stocked stream, in a fly-fishing area only, but that was the only day we got shut out. Every single fish we landed on this trip was a wild brown trout.

Let me guess - that’s your Dad! Am I right, Damon? Hehe. Anyway, to effectively catch a brown trout, use the fly-fishing method. Just like hunting a deer, you should also avoid the wind on this method. Wind can be a fishermen’s big hindrance to catch a trout. However, to avoid the wind, try to fish early in the morning or in the evening when it’s less windy.
